For those companies who are completely environmentally focused not only do we offer the low emission vehicle Toyota Prius to the super luxurious but ultra environmentally friendly Tesla, our despatch system is also focused on saving the planet.
The system will match a vehicle dropping off their passenger close by a required pickup location in order to reduce the dead mileage. There is, however, a 30 min window in which we have the ability to reach your pick up point, in order for our award-winning despatch system time to match a driver to your location – Whilst not essential pre-booking does help with route planning.
Our booking and despatch system is focused on reducing dead mileage and thus reduce the carbon footprint left by a taxi operation with over 250 vehicles. We match a vehicle dropping of their passenger close by in order to reduce the dead mileage to you. Dead mileage is the term used to describe the distance between where the vehicle is and where it has to go to pick a passenger up. Dead mileage is bad for the environment as the vehicle is empty when travelling. So with a £6 minimum fare we provide taxi’s that really don’t cost the earth.
Our dispatch system is also clever as it knows if a flight is delayed or in fact earlier. For airport meet and greet bookings you can reduce any incremental waiting time costs simply by stating what time after your flight lands do you want us to meet you – then leave the rest to us.
